Dark walls are brilliant however for displaying wall portraits incorporating strong bright colours in the shots and lend themselves to classically elegant black and white images too.

Muted neutral paint colours will always work whatever their location and whilst soothing the mind, give an excellent result when hanging wall art of any type.
Soft greens are almost meditational in effect and blues calming and mindful, and have you ever counted just how many different shades of white are on the market right now?

Our pre-shoot survey suggests that you actually photograph the room you’re going to hang your wall art and get the tape measure out too?  Our photographers then personalise the shoot, quite literally to work with your home decor, and our viewing team can help and advise to ensure the right style of portrait is hanging in the right place.  It’s all part of the service.  Just don’t ask us to pop round with a paint can? We’re willing to do most things to help you have the best experience we possibly can … just not that!
